Real Stories. Real Impact.

Lives Changed Through Partnership

Our impact is best understood through the lives touched by the dogs we train. Each story highlights how purposeful training and strong partnerships create lasting change in everyday moments.

FEATURED SUCCESS STORIES

Wallen

Franklin

Franklin

Wallen was placed with the Gratsy family in the Dayton area, where he provides emotional support to foster children navigating stress and PTSD, offering comfort, stability, and reassurance during difficult moments. In addition to emotional support, Wallen uses his alerting skills to assist the family when needed. Trained by Kylee, he was donated to Anything Is Pawsable, Inc. and successfully completed his Canine Good Citizen (CGC) evaluation. Wallen continues to be a loving, dependable presence and a meaningful part of the Gratsy family’s daily life.

Frankie was placed with the Dicke family in Mendon, Ohio, where he supports Zachary, an 18-year-old high school senior living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Chair-bound since early adolescence, Zach benefits from Frankie’s constant companionship and emotional support, particularly during medical appointments and challenging days. Frankie also assists by alerting the family when Zach needs help, providing added safety and peace of mind. Trained by Mackenzie, Frankie has become a trusted partner and a beloved presence in the Dicke family’s home.

Theodore

Theodore

Theo was placed with the Storer family in St. Marys, Ohio, where he is training with his handler, Jess, to complete his Canine Good Citizen (CGC) and therapy certifications. He is beginning to visit local nursing homes and hospitals, bringing comfort and companionship to individuals who benefit from the presence of a therapy dog. Through these visits, Theo represents Anything Is Pawsable, Inc., extending the program’s mission into the community. Under Jess’s guidance, Theo continues to grow in his role as a trusted and caring therapy dog.

Boston

Boston

Theodore

Boston was placed with Chad Sapp and his family, where he serves both at home and in the classroom. When accompanying Chad to work with Mercer County Educational Services, Boston greets students each day and provides a calm, reassuring presence that helps children navigate frustration and emotional challenges during class. At home, he is a steady and loving companion to Chad, his wife, and their two daughters. Through his work in educational settings, Boston extends the mission of Anything Is Pawsable, Inc. by creating a more supportive and compassionate environment for students who need it most.

Samoa

Boston

Samoa

Samoa was placed with Jill Applebee, who works in a middle school within an at-risk community, where Samoa accompanies her each day and brings warmth and connection to students throughout the building. As she makes her rounds through classrooms, Samoa offers comfort through simple moments of interaction—welcomed hugs, gentle pets, and steady companionship—helping create a more positive and supportive learning environment. Beyond her work at school, Samoa is also a constant source of encouragement and companionship for Jill at home, providing motivation, comfort, and a trusted presence each day.

Oreo

Boston

Samoa

Oreo is an Aussiedoodle from Poppi and Johnny’s litter through our Pawsatively Perfect Poodles and Doodles Program and was trained as a service dog for Nate Angell of Sidney, Ohio. Oreo supports Nate by providing behavior interruption and deep pressure therapy to help de-escalate moments of distress and emotional overwhelm. As he continues working toward his Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certification, Oreo is preparing to accompany Nate into public spaces that previously felt overwhelming, offering increased confidence, comfort, and support. Through his training, Oreo is helping Nate navigate daily life with greater ease and independence.
